A young woman, the student of a government institution in Patan district of Gujarat was gang raped by six teachers repeatedly for months. When she finally found the courage to seek justice, she has faced the predictable harrasement from various quarters.

The shocking aspect of her case is that the perpetrators are ‘teachers’ and that this went on for months. After she has spoken up, many other cases have come to light, and not just in the same college alone, but in other educational institutions in Gujarat.
